Starsky Partridge is a multi-instramentalist with a passion for synthesizers dating back to his childhood. While in highschool he began collecting vintage synthesizers, drum machines, samplers and effects units which at the time could be acquired for a fraction of their current market value. These instruments allowed Starsky to develop and mastermind a few bands and projects.

ShAPE was the first of these projects. An electronic-rock band influenced by Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, King Crimson and Depeche Mode. There was nothing else like ShAPE happening in Starsky's hometown of Brantford, Ontario, Canada at the time and they quickly found an enthusiastic audience. Since forming in the mid 90s, Shape has released 7 albums. After briefly taking on the name change of Sorrow Has a Perfect End in 2007, the band made their most ambitious album to date, "The Feasting". Starsky mixed the album in 5.1 surround sound and released it on DVD with accompanying videos for each of its 10 songs. In 2018, ShAPE returned to its original moniker with the album, "The Burden of Being", a stark and angry exploration of our modern social political climate. After over 20 years ShAPE shows no signs of slowing.

In 1999, Starsky landed a job as composer and sound designer at Digital Extremes, an independent video game developer based in London, Ontario most widely known for co-developing the Unreal franchise with EPIC Games. Leaving Brantford, ShAPE and his other projects behind, he went on to start a new chapter in his musical career. Having focused largely on darker more aggressive music, Starsky was thrown a curve ball when the first project he was given was the upbeat, prehistoric themed game, "Adventure Pinball Forgotten Island" (PC). The game was aimed at young children and would test Starsky's diversity as a composer. It is a soundtrack he is still very proud of to this day. Additionally, he did the sound design and contributed to the voice acting. Less then 2 years into his new career, Starsky was given the mammoth task of both scoring and doing sound design for the follow ups to the 1999 game of the year "Unreal Tournament", "Unreal Tournament 2003/2004" (PC) and "Unreal Championship" (Xbox). He later provided music for Digital Extremes Toronto studio's, "Desert Thunder" (PC) and "Pariah" (Xbox/PC).

Since Digital Extremes, Starsky has worked as a freelance composer and sound designer for several studios including Koei Canada and XMG Studios, handling the audio for such titles as, "Fatal Inertia" (Xbox/PS3) and "Ghostbusters Paranormal Blast" (iOS).  The latter title was an augmented reality game in the style of Pokemon Go, however predating it by several years.

In 2012, Starsky and his wife Nancy, welcomed their daughter into the world. Starsky turned his musical attention back to more personal projects. This would allow him to be closer to home while enabling a return to the stage both as a performer, and honing his skills as a front of house sound technician. During the next few years, Starsky focused on Andromedan Sky, his solo live electronic dance project as well as DJing under the name Shapeling. Both projects have rocked dance floors in and around Toronto and have each had recurring gigs at the Solstice (OM) festival since 2001. In early 2018, Andromedan Sky had the song "Glacial" featured on the Architextures "Winter Chill Vol. 2" compilation, alongside some of Ontario's finest electronic music producers. Starsky has also used this time to play in The Whatever Device, a classic rock cover band popular throughout the Brant-Norfolk area, with over 200 songs in their repertoire including a vast variety of bands, from Pink Floyd to the Beatles, Radiohead to Ghost.

In 2017, Starsky Partridge eagerly scored his first feature, the psychedelic terror film "Death on Scenic Drive". Director Gabriel Carrer encouraged Starsky to go darker and weirder at every turn. The result is an unsettling electronically driven score that amplifies the terror to almost unbearable heights. The film was an official selection at the Dedfest International Genre Film Festival (Canada, 2017), the Lund International Fantastic Film Festival (Sweden, 2017), Hard:Line International Film Festival (Germany, 2017) and Feratum (Mexico, 2017).
